This.

Some right mugs on this site, fuck knows what we'd be like if we actually came into money, we'd look as classless as Chelsea fans.

Was piss poor but we win as a team and lose as one, not quite sure what some peoples expectations are, i'm really enjoying this season despite today's result.

Re: NO NO NOble
A couple of the usual Noble howlers in the first half that he makes that make him look like a proper carthorse, but that aside I thought he was decent today. One thing about Noble is that he always wants the ball.

Re: NO NO NOble
Not sure Billic has rotated as well as he coukd have. The running Anonio does he needs a break, Moses could have played first 45 instead perhaps.
Song also should have started for Noble who also has played a lot and his performances are suffering. A little kick up the arse would do him some good too.
Jenkinson could have started at right back with Reid back in CD, Jenks has had his reminder he needs to buck up and is far more effective offensively

Re: NO NO NOble
Agreed P.Dancer but the question is what does he do when he gets the ball? The general comment of sideways or backward passes is generally true. Song may not cover as much ground but he is more affective WITH the ball. A lot of Nobles running is chasing lost causes too, he doesn't often win a tackle and hasn't the pace to catch up opposing players in posession

Mr Kenzo 8:04 Sat Jan 16
Re: NO NO NOble
it was a winning side on a good run, he was right not to change it. Unless Noble is injured he will start most games and rightly so. Every player had bad days roll on the next game.

"A lot of Nobles running is chasing lost causes too, he doesn't often win a tackle..."

People saying that always leave me scratching my head and makes me think they see what they want to see. He has the most successful tackles on our team and is not badly placed in the league (both per game and total and according to at least a couple sites.)

Noble plays like this most games but when we win it goes unnoticed.

People think we have better, more effective players than Noble and you think they're mugs just because you have a differen opinion? Now who's really the mug?

Re: NO NO NOble
He's so fucking bad. I would Mark him minus 10 out of 10. I'll be gutted if any papers, or our manager rates him differently.

At fault for both goals and even made a mistake for ours.

Drop him now before he KILLS this club.

Re: NO NO NOble
We all have opinions on Noble, fair enough.

I like him and not because he is from near Upton Park (my family are a couple generations removed from there.)

I like him in part because he does not hide, which cannot be said of some other players today.

People who don't understand football can't see players hiding, they don't see the game that well

Cheers for the look, NS son.

Always love the match thread. I normally save it for the next day.

Just left DARLINGTON. was in a boozer called HOGANS. 2 quid a beer and 1 quid a take away. On the train now work 10 carlseys and a few things that look like smirnoff ices.

*does T4 sign*

NOBLE OUT. KILLING WHUFC.

Re: NO NO NOble
wrighty.... one thing you can never throw at Nobes... same as Bish back in the day... they may put a pass wrong but they will never go missing... they would always come hunting for the ball... worth their hundred weight in gold players like that... if anyone had played at any level the game they would understand ... seems a load of people on here the nearest they ever got to kick a ball is in the back yard with their miniture poodles

Re: NO NO NOble
Noble for me is simply one of those types of players that every club needs in the Premier League and many weeks is an important cog in the machinery of a successful side but unfortunately for Mark his limitations mean that some weeks he is the weakness in the line up that puts unfair demands on others to compensate for this for us to be a top side.

If we are to progress then I don't see Noble in those plans but if we are content to be a mid to lower table side then we can expect a few more years of him as he will hold his own in such a team in that time.

Re: NO NO NOble
Noble was very poor
Payet was poor by his standards (his worst game for us so far)
Kouyate wasn't very effective
Obiang covered a lot of ground but didn't do much

Shelvey ran the show for them but should have been sent off for his forearm smash on Valencia

The referee was far too lenient with Newcastle's thuggery

We need a midfield enforcer to protect our skilful players & it's not Noble
